Article Abstract:

Capsella bursa-pastoris and its subspecies are examined. Previous studies have attributed its variations to phenotypic plasticity and identified four biotypes namely, simplex, rhomboidea, heteris and tenuis. Capsella bursa-pastoris' history, geographical and altitudinal distribution, habitat, communities, physiology, structure, phenology, response to environmental and biotic factors, floral and seed characteristics and herbivory and disease are also provided.
