Article Abstract:
Environmental sciences research and policy in the future is seen to be dominated by bioremediation, risk-based decision making, life cycle analysis and the health effects of complex chemical mixtures. In situ bioremediation, in particular, is predicted to lead the market. In the area of environmental policy, pollution prevention is seen to fully emerge as industry becomes increasingly aware of the benefits of products and facilities that would not do damage to the environment.
