Art galleries ho-gum? Museums a snore? try I-art
Article Abstract:
Museums are the cradle of creativity in rolling out shows featuring the art of ancient civilizations or famous, 19th-century artists. However, they are not being creative enough in fostering new art. As a result, contemporary artists are bypassing brick-and-mortar galleries to exhibit their wares over the Internet. Internet art or I-art may not always be good or interesting, but it represents a guerrilla response to stale shows and an opportunity for the World Wide Web to provide a worldwide audience with an alternative to yet another electronic commerce site.

TyCom dispute knocks 16% off shares of Global Crossing
Article Abstract:
Global Crossing suffered a 16% drop in its share price which results from a lawsuit it filed against one of its suppliers, TyCom, previously known as Tyco International. Global has sued TyCom for over $1 billion for alleged theft of trade secrets. TyCom has countered the accusation by charging that Global Crossing is trying to stifle competition. Global Crossing's shares plummeted by $4.39 to close at $23.63 which may be attributed to investors' fear of the negative impact that the case may have on its revenue growth.
