Article Abstract:
Global warming is the major cause of concern for travelers who care about the Earth's environment, especially since air transport is proving to be one of the world's fastest-growing sources of emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. The various initiatives taken by environmentalists all over the world to promote ecotourism, instead of allowing the destruction of woods, construction of hydroelectric projects and similar projects, which spoil the environment, are discussed.
