Eloquent anarchist: George Woodcock's mind - and heart - were expansive
Article Abstract:
Woodcock, who died at the age of 82, was the author of more than 125 books in such fields as poetry, history, biography and literary criticism. He is best remembered for his 1966 book about George Orwell 'The Crystal Spirit.' He was also an anarchist who contributed extensively to charities.
