Evangelical Christians support Israel
Article Abstract:
Evangelical Christians see attempts to divide the Holy Land as blasphemy, or worse and it has become evident in the United States that the Christian conservatives have become influential on matters concerning Israel and the Palestinians. They are very much interested in the future of Israel because they believe the return of Jews to Israel as the return of the Messiah and beginning of the End Times, an apocalyptic battle between good and evil.

The peace efforts between the Israeli's and Palestinians failed repeatedly in the 1990s. In the wake of the failed ceasefire attempt and an atmosphere of unrelenting violence led to the construction of Israel's 450-mile security barrier.
