Quebec Premier Lucien Bouchard held a three-day meeting of a highly diverse group of business executives, farmers, trade unionists and other leaders to devise a plan for Quebec's economic future that most of the attendees could support. The meeting was successful, and its outcomes are discussed.

The taverna terrorists: Basque militants target a stunning new museum

The Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA) has conducted a 30-year campaign to win Basque independence from Spain and the group allegedly tried to launch an unsuccessful grenade attack on the new Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art in Bilbao. The ETA is also accused of trying kill four police officers.

Article Abstract:
The incidence of problems such as suicide, drug and alcohol abuse and homelessness is higher among teenagers who believe they are or could be gay. Gay and lesbian teenagers must choose between rejection and alienation when deciding whether or not to live openly as gay.
