Pols used to be the CFO of Andy Sarlos & Assoc, but he quit that high-pressure job in Jun 1991, and now devotes most of his time to music. He plays jazz piano almost full-time and has also taken up the flute and earned a ham radio licence. He also spent a year in Australia with his wife.
