Foreign Affairs: How to Steal a Diamond: Little happens in Namaqualand, except "leakage"

Article Abstract:

Namaqualand, South Africa, is infamous in the diamond industry for its constant flow of stolen diamonds. Many workers feel that God put diamonds in South Africa and the mining companies cannot claim sole ownership of the resource.
