The teaching methods and goals of each of the ten Canadian provinces are listed. British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec and Prince Edward Island are firmly committed to the use of child-centered education methods. The other provinces emphasize basic education.

Canada has neglected its universities and colleges because the country does not understand the significance of a college education. Canada's colleges need to be able to differentiate themselves from one another to improve both education and research.
