King of the castle
Article Abstract:
The decision of Edward VIII to abdicate his throne in favor of marrying American divorcee Wallis Simpson, led to the crowing of his younger brother as Britain's King George VI. George VI was the most significant monarch of the century, restoring the monarchy and reminding Australians today that public debate should be about modifying a system nof government without destroying it.
