Banking on the difference
Article Abstract:
Bendigo Bank is one of Queensland's smallest banks, but it is the fastest growing in the country. The prospect of being acquired is no longer the bank's greatest asset. Alliances are more important to Bendigo than ownership as a route to market penetration and diversification. Through an alliance with Elders Australia, Bendigo provides rural banking through Elders' more than 220 outlets.
