Meet Parade's All-America High School Girls Basketball Team
Article Abstract:
Parade has selected 40 high school girl basketball players from around the US and rated them by placing them on first, second, third, and fourth teams. The Player of the Year is Nina Smith, a 6-ft-4 center from Waterloo, IA. Smith averaged 27 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 blocks, and 3 steals per game during the 1998-99 season. She plans to attend the Univ of Wisconsin.
