Newbridge-3Com union believed in peril
Article Abstract:
Newbridge Networks Corp. of Kanata, Ontario, is planning to disengage itself from its sales-and-marketing alliance with 3Com Corp. which means that it failed again to venture into the profitable local-area-network market, based on a report that will be released soon. Newbridge Networks was expecting that the partnership would help it form effective ties with industry leaders and improve its revenue base. Still, analysts consider the alliance to still pose viable opportunities aside from higher revenue gains.
