Nevada Bob's opening up to 10 stores in Washington
Article Abstract:
Nevada Bob's Canada Inc., a Calgary, Alberta-based retailer of golf equipment, is opening as many as 10 new stores over the next 18 months in Washington and is planning to sell its wares right on the golf courses. The stores, together with the inventory, will be valued at $1 million each. The first on-course golf store of Nevada Bob's Canada in the state, which will be a 4,000-sq-ft pro shop, will be opened at a course in Kent, WA. The company has opted to expand its business in Washington because of the state's weather, which permits more round of golfs annually, and the number of golfers in the region.
