Article Abstract:
1997 XF 11 asteroid is one of many asteroids and comets whose trajectory is followed by astronomers. XF 11 received a lot of attention because its trajectory appeared to be dangerously close to Earth. When astronomers recalculated their figures the miss distance was 600,000 miles. Still, some caution that XF 11 could be nudged onto a deadly path if it passes close to another asteroid and gravity alters its course.

Article Abstract:
Global warming effects will be beneficial to some regions. The pattern of warming has been closer to the Arctic, allowing northern ports that normally run for four months to extend beyond their usual season. Among other benefits is the 1.8-degree rise in temperature which will decrease heating bills 11% in the US, particularly for northern towns such as Green Bay, WI.
