Nortel Networks Corporation has blamed former chief executive officer Frank Dunn and his financial team for the accounting and the financial problems in the company thereby removing Mr. Dunn in April 2004, along with chief financial officer Douglas Beatty and controller Michael Gollogly. An internal review reported that Frank Dunn asked his management team to adopt accounting methods that did not meet US standards with a view to meet profit targets and collect bonus.
