Article Abstract:

About 25% of the members of the Electrical Contractors' Association of Queensland voted One Nation at a recent Queensland election. They were mostly people who ran small businesses and employ others as part of the core businesses that help the country function. The group was dissatisfied with the leadership of John Howard and Paul Keating. They believe Australia is in turmoil but would never want to leave the country.

Article Abstract:

Hanson heads for the exit

Article Abstract:

Pauline Hanson does not have a strong chance of winning the seat of Tony Blair without substantial preference leakages from the major political parties. The One Nation party will continue to struggle for seats. If Hanson had stood for the Senate, she would have had a better chance without major party preferences, needing only 14% to win.
