Paper performers: coins and banknotes have proved canny investments, especially the latter

Barry Winsor and Jeffrey Dick contend that the best investments are rare coins and banknotes. Winsor's portfolio value has increased by 40%, and rare banknotes have doubled their price. The weakest area has been collector items. Some do see increases in value, but many have been falling. Winsor and Dick also see this as better alternative to shares and property.
