Pay daze
Article Abstract:
The Australian Workers' Union, which represents more than 160,000 blue-collar workers, believes its workers should not be forced to pay for electronic payment of wages and bank charges. The union is launching its "banking campaign," aiming for a tax-free allowance of $2 to $5 per week per worker. Officials argue that employers benefit from the use of the EFT system and should pay for its service.
