The devastating impact created by the Aug 6, 1945, atomic bomb attack on Japan continues to reverberate throughout the world, 50 years after the horrific event. A history of the creation and use of the nuclear weapon is presented, with emphasis on the reaction of Canada's Mackenzie King.
