A rhetoric speech by President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has created a turmoil. He stated that Israel should be wiped off the map has alarmed the Western diplomats and also caused concern among Iranians who are now beginning to suspect that their new president is an ideological and religious zealot bent on casting the country back onto a revolutionary Islamic track.
