Article Abstract:
The assassination in March 1999 of Eamon Collins, who informed on the Irish Republican Army (IRA) in 1985, demonstrates the deeply entrenched sectarian violence of Northern Ireland is. Collins had been an IRA intelligence officer before he informed, and had written a memoir, "Killing Rage," about his experiences.
