Deepa Mehta, an Indian filmmaker based in Toronto, has directed a new movie called "Fire," which depicts the life of two sisters-in-law in loveless marriages who end up making love. Upon the release of the movie in Trivandrum, she received death threats from men for making a dirty movie. She feared that the board of censors in India would also reject its content, but they instead had praises. The movie has sold out all shows in New Delhi and Bombay.
