The Canadian Daily Newspaper Publishers Association (CDNA), which first promulgated an code of ethical principles in 1977, is taking steps to eliminate the code. An CDNA advisory body voted to jettison the code in Jan 1995. John Miller published an op-ed piece in support of the code in 'The Ottawa Citizen'
