Eight Canadian couples describe their courtships, the reasons they decided to marry and the wedding festivities. Some of the people profiled include a woman marrying a man in prison, a small-town Saskatchewan couple, twin sisters being married at the same time and a couple who had an arranged marriage.

Breaking the silence: a report reveals abuse against Inuit children
Article Abstract:
The government of the Northwest Territories has released a report on numerous cases of physical and sexual abuse against Inuit schoolchildren. The abuse took place between 1952 and 1969 at a day school in the Chesterfield Inlet. No charges will be filed for a variety of reasons.
