How Garry checked the Deep Blues

Article Abstract:

This article described a chess match between Garry Kasparov, world chess champion for 12 years, and Deep Blue, an IBM supercomputer, held in May 1997. Kasparov, who had defeated Deep Blue in 1996, lost the rematch. Relevant points include Deep Blue's vastly superior ability to evaluate possible moves and lack of real intelligence due to its inability to use intuition in combination with learned experience.
