This article examines claims that eastern Asian countries have begun an economic revival that will take them out of their current recession. Relevant points include the need to suspend judgment on the success of economic reforms in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Philippines.
