The Coalition's plan to sell the remaining two-thirds of Telstra, one of the most competitive monopolies in the world of communications, will not benefit Australian citizen-shareholders. Australians, unlike typical shareholders, will not receive something for their money. The money will be coming back to Australians in the form of tax cuts and then they will be asked to pay for the program through tax increases.
