The Human Sciences laboratory at Texas Tech University is conducting research on understanding the emotional and intellectual abilities of babies. Results indicate that babies possess advanced powers of deduction, an ability to decipher intricate patterns and a capability of mastering complex emotions such as jealousy, empathy and frustration at a very young age.
