Pychiatrist Vivian Rakoff prepared a psychological profile of Bouchard in 1996 that claims the Quebec premier suffers from an 'character disorder' marked by contradictory behavior and temper outbursts. However, Rakoff has never met Bouchard, and supporters of Bouchard say the profile is incorrect.

Flawed as a practitioner, Bourassa lived for politics
Article Abstract:
Robert Bourassa served two terms as premier of Quebec and loved to talk about politics and his views of politicians. Some dispute his commitment to Canada, but he signed two agreements binding Quebec to Canada and spoke for Canada in two referendums.
