The Washington Redskin's coach, Joe Gibbs, believes that Washington's Canadian quarterback, Mark Rypien, is the most intelligent quarterback he has ever worked with. Rypien's teammate, 13-year veteran quarterback Jeff Rutledge, says he has never seen a quarterback throw with the accuracy of Rypien.

The Special Olympics World Winter Games will be held Feb 1-8, 1997, in Toronto and Collingwood, Ontario. Around 2,000 mentally handicapped athletes from 80 different countries are expected to compete. The Games emphasize participation rather than winning.
