The Cunanan enigma: Versace's killer takes his own life and leaves a mystery

Cunanan's suicide at age 27 inside a Miami Beach houseboat could only give rise to speculations as to why he killed so many men, especially why Versace. In the last few months of his life he put fear into the gay community since his victims were mainly gay. Some of these speculations are discussed.

Murder in Miami: police accuse a gay gigolo of killing designer Gianni Versace
Article Abstract:
Andrew Phillip Cunanan, who is on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Ten Most Wanted List, allegedly shot and killed Versace on his front steps. Police believe that Cunanan, a homosexual, has also killed two other gay men. Cunanan's anger towards the gay community may have led to the murders.
