Walhalla Mining's purchase of the internet service provider Kidz.net has increased the value of Walhalla. Kidz.net organizes web sites of educational and entertainment value to children. It also prevents the children from gaining any access to pornographic sites. Walhalla Mining purchased the internet company in April 1999. Walhalla has also invested in two other high-technology companies.
