The effects of therapeutic back massage on psychophysiologic variables and immune function in spouses of patients with cancer
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine if therapeutic back massage (TBM)'s influences on psychosocial, physiologic and immune function variables in spouses of patients with cancer and to explore the relationships between psychosocial variables and immune function in spouses of patients with cancer. The finding suggests that TBM may enhance mood and reduce perceived stress.

The pain experience of children with leukemia during the first year after diagnosis
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the pain experience, management strategies and outcomes during the first year after the diagnosis of acute leukemia. The results reflected that the children with leukemia experienced pain throughout the first year of treatment, and the pain was responsive to the management strategies used by the patients and children.
