Personal narratives are presented from living organ donors of the United States who have provided kidney, partial livers or partial lungs for the sick. It is estimated that over 76,000 Americans require an organ transplant and approximately 15 people die waiting for donor organs each day.

Reagan instilled an understanding of God and an appreciation for his unconditional love in his daughter Patti when she was a child. Although she has ideological differences with her father, she never argued with his presidential vision of a strong and prosperous America.

Tsui aided the Marines in China after World War Two and hoped one day to live in the US. He was able to emigrate to the US in 1983 but did not receive residency status. He hopes legislation will be passed to approve his citizenship in 1993.
