Article Abstract:

This article describes a lawsuit in Australia concerning a dairy farmer's right to move cows on a public road. A neighbor sued to stop or restrict the movement of the cows on grounds of common law nuisance. In a victory for farmers, the Australian Supreme Court changed the lower court order so as to permit the herding of cattle on public roads.
