On the rocks
Article Abstract:
Namibia's black-faced impala are facing extinction. About 600 of these animals remain in Angola and Namibia, often confronted from danger from leopards and poachers. A number of impala have been translocated and monitored with radio collars. Poaching appears to be increasing and could be mitigated by increased reintroduction of the animals into the wild.
