The price of fame: broadcaster Brian Smith's murder shocks Ottawa

Smith, a sports broadcaster for television station CJOH, was shot and killed in the station's parking lot on Aug 1, 1995. Jeffrey Arenburg, an unemployed fisherman with a history of mental problems, was arrested for the murder. Smith played professional hockey before becoming a journalist.
