Toronto's 1997 film festival was the biggest ever in N America and the films ranged from 'The Sweet Hereafter' shot in the Canadian mountains, to a large US epic set in Tibet, 'Seven Years in Tibet.' The festival lures many celebrities of the industry, which helps to support the works of the lesser known.
