Vancouver Airport Services lands deal

Vancouver Airport Services, a unit of Vancouver International Airport, has received a seven-year contract to provide services to the owners of Wellington International Airport in New Zealand. The contract, worth C$7 million, will be paid in seven years for about C$1 million a year. According to Vancouver Airport Services chief executive officer Frank O'Neill, the amount could increase depending on the amount of work the unit performs for the New Zealand airport. The unit will serve as adviser, providing retail and commercial services to Wellington to help it profit from restaurants and shops.
