Australian corporate criminals like Rodney Adler and Ray Williams are pleading guilty to charges levelled against them, since the cost of running a case could run into millions. The change in community attitudes towards crimes, a more sophisticated legal system, stronger political will and a greater personalisation of business, are making it harder for white-collar criminals to escape attention.
