As technology for accessing information improves, emphasis will shift away from the personal compute to a machine that incorporates personal computer functions with the simplicity of a terminal. The trend towards corporate centralized computing is occurring because of the benefit in savings. The latest innovation will allow users to access applications over the internet, rented for the time are in use, thus freeing up memory while offering limitless types of software.
