Y2K bug means a pot of gold forentrepreneurs
Article Abstract:
Computer service and software companies have benefitted from the paranoia created by the Y2K computer bug. Canadian companies have scrambled for the $600-billion global market as the momentum builds up with the approach of the millennium. As a result, leading established firms are spinning off Y2K divisions and small companies are sprouting up to offer various Y2K software. Among the Canadian companies that offer Y2K service are CGI Group, Reasoning Inc. and y2kRadar Software.
