Marketing professor Tom Stanley and his student, Bill Danko, studied millionaires' attitudes and became millionaires themselves through a simple formula: hard work and thrift. Most millionaires, they found, live beneath their means and teach their children the value of working and saving.

Vermejj, who made an important discovery about evolution while study mollusks, has been blind since age three. He has a Ph.D. from Yale, was a MacArthur Fellow and has many other accomplishments. His autobiography will be published in Sep 1996.
