Don't panic - leave that to others
Article Abstract:
Listed property trusts (LPTs) in Australia are for steadily rising distribution income and long-term, slow unit-price, or net-asset-value, upward creep, not fast speculative growth and worry on the part of those invested in these trusts is not justified. The run-up in the LPT index over the past year has been frosting on the cake. It may be that second-tier commercial property trusts will be the best performers in 2001, with AMP Office one to watch. Price movements, with US interest rates a factor, are explained.
