Global equity fund managers forecast that in the year 2005 China will continue its economic expansion at a slower pace and companies in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Asian countries will benefit from this expansion. There is a shift in emphasis in China where Chinese consumers will spend more freely and boost the earnings of consumer goods companies.
