Share portfolios for beginners
Article Abstract:
Investors interested in building a share portfolio should choose to invest in companies or products they are familiar with among the approximately 1200 companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. As a generally rule investors should buy at least $5000 worth of shares in a company to keep brokers fees at a minimum. The portfolio should eventually build to 10 to 20 stocks. Share trusts are another option for portfolios. They offer investors variety and are chosen by fund managers for their good value.

Havana good time
Article Abstract:
Contrary to American propaganda Cuba offers tourist fun, excitement, old world charm and the passion of the Caribbean. Tourists can reach Havana through Mexico City with few rules or regulations to hinder entry or travel. The culture is celebrated with loud salsa music blasting from cars, from strolling musicians and from street cafes on Havana's El Malecon boulevard.

Fine-tune you portfolio for 1998
Article Abstract:
The end of the year is a good time for people to review their financial portfolios and make adjustments for 1998. Most people have adjusted their portfolios to reflect volatility in 1997 and financial advisors predict the volatility will continue into the new year. Equities should be mixed with overweight in cash and a balanced portfolio is still solid advice.
