The data from Intech investment consultants show that, of the seven growth-oriented funds that were the top performers in the year 2003, six retained their positions in the year 2004. Intech's senior consultant, Andrew Korbel was of the view that of the top seven managers, all except for AMP Balanced Growth started the year 2004 with above average investments in Australian shares and listed properties, with over-weight positions ranging between 1% to 12%.
