Time on our hands
Article Abstract:
Portable timepieces have changed over time since they were first introduced around 1600. Pocket watches moved from being practical to being a fashion statement because of their design and detail. Wrist watches were created around 1900. They too became fashion statements. It was not until the 1970s that watches became affordable, with many costing less than $100. Three of the latest trends in watches for men are mentioned.
